Belden 7700A is a flexible S-Video cable (also sometimes called S-VHS cable, or y/c cable), consisting of two mini-coaxes joined together in "zip-cord" fashion. This cable uses a teflon dielectric and is rated for use in plenums; due to its zip-cord construction, it is quite ugly to look at, but from a performance standpoint it is a superb cable. We solder our Belden 7700A cable to a solid all-metal S-Video mini-DIN plug made to our specifications.
