We offer balanced audio cables both in single runs and in four- and eight-channel snakes. Our most popular single cable is Belden 1800F, an AES/EBU cable (suitable both for analog and digital use). We also offer Canare L-4CFB, a star-quad cable, for higher common mode noise rejection. In snake cable, we have Belden 1803F and 1805F AES/EBU snakes (purple jacket, suitable for digital or analog); Belden 1904A and 1908A (black jacket, "french braid" shield, highly flexible for stage-snake use); and Gepco GA72404GFC and GA72408GFC (more economical; foil shield instead of braid). All of these are terminated with Neutrik XLR connectors or Canare 1/4" phone plugs.
Belden 1800F is a high-flex balanced audio cable. It is suited for AES/EBU digital applications as well as for analog use, and has a "french braid" style shield for high coverage and density but without the loss of flexibility which a full braid can cause.
Canare L-4E6S is similar in size and flexibility to Belden 1800F, but is a star quad cable. This means higher capacitance, but also higher noise rejection. It is particularly useful in noise-sensitive low signal level applications like microphone cabling, or where EMI or RFI are a problem.
We offer a variety of 4 and 8 channel snake cables. These are Belden 1803F and 1805F (purple jacketed, AES/EBU cable), Belden 1904A and 1908A (black jacketed, high-flex, braid-shielded stage snakes), and Gepco GA72404GFC and GA72408GFC (black jacketed, foil-shielded cables).
To make Y-cables (two inputs to one output or two outputs to one input) we use a miniature analog balanced cable, Belden 1508A. While Y cables can be made in any length, typical usage is to make a short Y adapter and couple this to conventional cables.
